Doubao AI Unveils Professional Version & Seedance 2.0: Expanding AI Applications Across Domains

Doubao AI has rolled out a suite of updates to enhance its AI capabilities, catering to professional, creative, and educational needs. On June 24, the platform launched its professional version based on the latest Doubao 2.1 large model, with the announcement video gaining 39,000 plays and over 1,000 comments.

Seedance 2.0, a key creative feature, allows users to turn text into visual content. A video reinterpreting the poem "Every year the flowers look the same, but each year people change" using Seedance 2.0 reached 100,000 plays and 11,000 comments. Other popular Seedance 2.0 creations include summer moment clips, graduation wishes, and Mother’s Day tributes, each drawing tens of thousands of views.

For education, Doubao launched "Doubao Classroom" on June 1 as part of its educational app, accumulating 45,000 plays. Office tools like one-click PPT generation (49,000 plays) and upgraded voice input (26,000 plays) have boosted productivity. Cultural features include a museum guide mode for the Pudong Art Museum’s Morandi exhibition (34,000 plays) and photo editing for graduation photos (54,000 plays).

Doubao also addressed misinformation: a May 28 clarification on false baby feeding advice got 110,000 reads, and it supported the May 22 "Clean Up AI Chaos" campaign (20,000 reads). Scientific communities use Doubao for literature retrieval and algorithm design, with demo videos attracting thousands of plays.
