Qianwen AI Assistant Launches Dedicated 'Life Helper' Entrance, Integrating Alibaba Ecosystem Services for Enhanced Daily Convenience

July 28, 2024 (NetEase Society News) — Alibaba's Qianwen AI Assistant APP has rolled out an update to boost user experience, adding a dedicated 'Life Helper' feature entrance. This entry aggregates a full range of Alibaba ecosystem services including Taobao Flash Sale, Fliggy Travel, Amap Ride-Hailing, and Cainiao Logistics, offering one-stop access to daily services such as takeout, group purchases, movie ticket bookings, transportation, accommodation, and express delivery payments.

According to the Digital Retail Platform of the China E-Commerce Research Center (DR.100EC.CN), the Life Helper section pre-installs commonly used service commands like gas bill payment and provident fund inquiry; users can activate these services with a single click. Positioned prominently on the bottom toolbar, the entrance allows users to view and manage all service orders in one place. Leveraging Cainiao's underlying capabilities, Qianwen now supports parcel sending and pickup information queries—users can complete order placement and online payment by binding their Cainiao accounts and filling in shipping details.

Earlier this year, Qianwen integrated with Alibaba ecosystem apps like Taobao, Alipay, and Amap, launching over 400 AI service functions and becoming the world's first AI assistant capable of handling complex real-life tasks. In May, it deepened integration with Taobao, using massive product databases and consumer scenario accumulation to enable AI shopping guidance, discount calculation, and price comparison, advancing AI's integration into daily life.

Recent Qianwen updates also include an upgraded College Entrance Exam Agent with EMS integration for real-time admission notice tracking. Additionally, both Doubao and Qianwen announced the shutdown of their smart agent functions starting July 15, though basic AI services remain unaffected.

The China E-Commerce Research Center, affiliated with Zhejiang Wangjing She Information Technology Co., Ltd.—an 18-year-old leading digital economy new media and service provider—offers 'media + think tank' and 'membership + incubation' services. Its 'Dianshubao' e-commerce database (free registration available) covers listed companies, NEEQ firms, unicorns, high-growth enterprises, investment records, and app data, supporting e-commerce professionals with data visualization and decision-making.
