Qianwen, Alibaba's AI model, has released a series of updates spanning college entrance exam admission services, embodied intelligence collaborations, and AI hardware market performance from late June to early July 2026.

In the college admission sector, Qianwen's free admission reports exceeded 20 million by June 29 at 23:58, serving over 10 million candidate families. Users praised the reports for their high reference value and ability to significantly reduce information-gathering costs. College admission teachers advised that while AI tools like Qianwen are useful, candidates should complement AI insights with official admission office consultations and campus visits.

Qianwen is expanding its presence in embodied intelligence and AI hardware. Over 150,000 smart hardware vendors have integrated Qianwen's model, including domestic leading embodied intelligence enterprises and the world's top 10 mobile phone manufacturers. Products such as Luk Doctor's AI learning machine and Zhuji Power's humanoid robot LimX Luna (powered by Alibaba Cloud's full-stack AI and Qianwen Omni model) leverage Qianwen's capabilities in multi-modal interaction and task planning.

According to the 2026 China AI Hardware Industry Insight and Trend Report, the AI hardware market (excluding phones and cars) is projected to surpass 1.27 trillion yuan. Qianwen has already covered scenarios like AI glasses, AI phones, robots, and in-vehicle terminals. However, in the shooting glasses market, Qianwen ranks second with a 22.0% share—16.1 percentage points behind Huawei's 38.1% lead, per July 1 data from Lotu Technology. Xiaomi follows with a 13.6% share.

During the peak admission period, Qianwen generated over 1 million reports in a single day on June 30, with stable system operation and no service disruptions.
