Before installing Codex++, you must first have the OpenAI Codex desktop app installed. The official Codex supports Windows, macOS, and Linux. For Windows users, download the zip package, extract it, and run the executable as an administrator. First-time users can log in via an OpenAI account or use an API key (from platform.openai.com/api-keys) for pay-as-you-go access.
