Doubao AI Unveils Seedance 2.5 & Professional Version: Expanding AI Capabilities Across Creativity, Work, and Education

Doubao AI has rolled out key updates, including the Seedance 2.5 video generation model on its professional version—supporting 30-second single-segment outputs, which quickly gained 3,503 plays and 1,217 comments. The professional version itself, built on the Doubao 2.1 large model, launched on June 24 and accumulated 44,000 plays and 1,134 comments, highlighting user interest in enhanced AI capabilities.

Creative use cases stand out: Seedance 2.0 generated summer moment videos (43,000 plays), ancient Chinese poem visualizations like "Year after year flowers look the same" (120,000 plays and 11,000 comments), and graduation greetings (58,000 plays). It also added Rembrandt light effects for pet photos—cat portraits using this feature earned 61,000 plays and 2,188 comments.

Beyond creativity, Doubao AI expanded into education and productivity: its education app launched "Doubao Classroom" for Children’s Day (48,000 plays, 1,517 comments), while the one-click PPT tool boosted office efficiency (50,000 plays, 1,134 comments). The museum guide mode also guided users through the Pudong Art Museum’s "Giorgio Morandi: Soliloquy" exhibition (38,000 plays, 1,227 comments).

Responsible AI is a priority: Doubao addressed misinformation about baby feeding advice (110,000 reads,991 comments) and participated in the "Qinglang·Rectify AI Application Chaos" initiative (20,000 reads,634 comments), underscoring its commitment to ethical AI use.
