Huawei's Yu Chengdong, Executive Director and Terminal BG Chairman, officially announced on August 25 that a new triple-fold smartphone is coming soon. According to a blogger, the global cumulative shipments of Huawei's previous triple-fold models (Mate XT / XTs Ultimate Master) have exceeded 1 million units, with a unit price over 20,000 yuan.

Qualcomm's 6th Gen Snapdragon 8 flagship CPU, featuring the custom Oryon chip, has broken the 5GHz frequency barrier. Qualcomm claims it's the 'world's fastest mobile CPU', thanks to its new cache architecture and independent clock domains for each core, which allow independent frequency scaling beyond just process improvements.
